This stole is made in kala cotton, grown and woven in Kachchh, and dyed using traditional Shibori techniques. Each dot you see has been carefully tied by hand, a slow and deliberate act, before being immersed in natural dye. The process leaves behind a constellation of resist-marked circles — no two dots alike, no placement quite predictable.
The fabric, with its textured grain and deep indigo hue, holds the rhythm of the maker’s hand. What emerges is not just a pattern, but a composition — quiet, layered, and alive. It blurs the line between textile and art, between cloth and canvas.
Please note: As with all natural dyes, minor variations in color may occur due to environmental factors. These only deepen with time, adding to the charm and character of each piece.
