GFP’s zero waste journey made them realize that each one has the power to make a big difference, but most of us are clueless about it! This journey then transformed into a mission to provide sustainable, accessible, and affordable alternatives to plastic in daily life.
They commit to bringing all-natural, cruelty-free, biodegradable, and locally-made, everyday essentials in one place for everyone.
Purpose
They have brought together the best everyday essentials in one place to make it easier for one to shop ethically. They want to make it easier for everyone to make small, practical changes in their daily life while supporting businesses that value the planet over profit.
People
GFP works with the local artisans, who are skilled yet find it difficult to earn a living. Their products come from various clusters of artisans in Kerala, Tamil Nadu, West Bengal, Bihar & Maharashtra. With a constant commitment of orders, these artisans have a secured source of income. As the business grows, so will their income. They work hand in hand with the artisans and lookout constantly for their progress.
Planet
All the products are sourced from sustainable raw materials. For instance Bamboo, Neem wood, or coconut shells. Their coconut bowls, spoons, soap dish, coir scrubs, are made from upcycled material, whereas the stationery line uses old newspapers to create the body of the pencils. Not only billions of trees are saved in making these wood-free Pencils, but the old papers are also reused with a purpose.
