People
Urban Medley strives to reflect contemporary design through traditional forms of weaving and printing. In this journey, they work with artisanal clusters and designers committed to promoting traditional art forms. This enables their artisans to earn a respectable living doing what they are best skilled at and continue living in their native environment with dignity and pride.
Planet
We exclusively use sustainable, organic materials in our products- peace silk, organic cotton, ethically sourced wool, burlap, and responsibly sourced leather.
Water Use- We use minimal water during processing.
Eco-Friendly Dyes- When dyes are necessary, we use natural, AZO-free, or eco-friendly options.
Minimizing Pollution- Since most of our products are 100% handmade, we achieve minimal to zero pollution levels.
Ethical Standards -We monitor our suppliers and require an undertaking from them that workers are paid a fair living wage and work in a safe environment.
Eco friendly packaging- The bags are made from organic cotton and eco-friendly materials. We minimize the use of plastic as much as possible.
Reforestation- To offset these and other similar activities we plant a tree for every order placed. We are working with Tree Nation.
