People
They work to provide employment to women. Their commitment is to fair wages and more than 50% of the workforce is women. They produce in small batches as opposed to the norm of bulk production. This provides them with the opportunity to upskill the employee workforce. They work with Handloom clusters and weavers thus ensuring more business for them.
Planet
With the planet as the primary consideration, they keep the designs devoid of any adornment that doesn't serve a functional purpose. This makes them easy to recycle or regenerate from. Two-thirds of the eco-impact of a product comes from the material used in its production. Saltpetre sources materials locally from suppliers that are either organic-certified or have been thoroughly evaluated by their team for their ethical practices. Every shipment of Saltpetre comes packed in 100% biodegradable packaging that can be used as a window planter.
