Goldilocks Goods is a team of six makers in Canada who work together to make products that help people start their sustainability journey in an approachable way.
Purpose
The Goldilocks Zone is what scientists call the part of Earth that’s ideal for sustaining life: not too hot, not too cold. They named themselves Goldilocks because they believe that lasting change stems not from extremes, but from balance. They found that people were often overwhelmed at the start of their zero waste journey, and so ended up doing nothing. But they think the key is to make small changes that can be maintained long term, then add in new habits over time.
People
Goldilocks Goods is a team of six makers, who make everything by hand in Canada. They work closely together to further their mission of making sustainability more approachable to all.
Planet
Goldilocks Goods makes each reusable beeswax wrap by hand in small batches. From the washing and cutting of the cotton, to waxing piece by piece, to folding and packaging, they do it all themselves. Their Founder is an art historian and ocean lover who was able to combine both her passions into Goldilocks Wraps. After volunteering with a shark conservation program in the South Pacific, she was devastated by the ocean plastics problem globally. This compelled Amy to start her journey towards zero waste, which soon inspired her to start her ever-growing business.
