Purpose
Indian Yards Foundation began with a mission to upskill and uplift women from rural and indigenous communities, guiding them into the economic mainstream. As their work grew, they realized that true and lasting impact meant not just employment, but entrepreneurship. This gave rise to The Good Gift — a platform that not only empowers women to become entrepreneurs but also connects their work to conscious, sustainable markets.

A brand aimed women empowerement from the heart of the Nilgiris mountains, The Good Doll empowers 53 women from rural and indigenous communities. By working with these women, The Good Doll has enabled these women to become financially independent, while also giving them have access to better education & nutrition for themselves and their children.

Every doll is handcrafted with love, made from local and ethically sourced materials including handloom cotton fabrics, natural dyes, recycled yarns, and wood from responsibly managed forests. The production process is zero waste which means waste generated from the main production is upcycled to produce smaller items. The entire gift box and it’s contents are 100% biodegradable.
